    Nordtrib 2026

    NORDTRIB 2026 will be arranged on 9-12 June 2026 at Tampere University City centre campus.

    Abstract submission deadline 31 January 2026.

    The Nordic Tribology Symposium (NORDTRIB) is an international conference held every two years in one of the Nordic countries—Finland, Sweden, Norway, or Denmark. Since its inaugural edition in 1984 in Tampere, Finland, NORDTRIB has steadily grown in prominence and is now recognized as a significant forum for the global tribology community.

    WTC 2026

    The 8th World Tribology Congress (WTC 2026) will be held in September in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, following previous WTC events in London (1997), Vienna (2001), Washington DC (2005), Kyoto (2009), Torino (2013), Beijing (2017) and Lyon (2022). WTC 2026 will bring together academic and industrial experts in tribology research to discuss state-of-the-art developments and future trends in the field, with a particular focus on the role of tribology for net-zero energy.
